2023 5th International Academic Exchange Conference on Science and Technology Innovation (IAECST 2023) wrapped up!
2023 5th International Academic Exchange Conference on Science and Technology Innovation (IAECST 2023), in conjunction with the Inaugural Meeting of IEEE PES Smart Buildings, Loads & Customer Systems (SBLC) Satellite Committee-China, took place successfully in Guangzhou, China, on December 9-10. The conference, capitalizing on a hybrid format blending both online and offline modalities, pooled over 300 experts and scholars in attendance from prestigious domestic and international universities and research institutions. Additionally, more than 30,000 individuals tuned in via the AiScholar Media Matrix platform to virtually attend the conference, witnessing the live proceedings.
This conference was guided by the Guangdong Provincial Association for Science and Technology and the Guangzhou Association for Science and Technology. It was co-hosted by the IEEE PES SBLC Satellite Committee-China, the South China University of Technology, the China Society of Territorial Economists, and the Guangdong AiScholar Institute of Academic Exchange. The event was organized by the School of Electric Power Engineering at the South China University of Technology, the Science and Technology Economic Integration Special Committee of the China Society of Territorial Economists, the Academic Exchange Information Center (AEIC), and Zhongchuang Wenjing Co., Ltd., with technical support provided by the AiScholar Platform.
This conference was co-organized by prestigious universities such as Hohai University, Tongji University, Central South University, Fudan University, Southwest University, Zhejiang University of Technology, Nanchang University, Fujian University of Technology, the China-Singapore International Joint Research Institute, along with esteemed research institutions including the Key Laboratory of Intelligent Information Processing and System Integration of IoT under the Ministry of Education, the Key Laboratory of Intelligent Detection & Manufacturing Internet of Things under the Ministry of Education, the Guangdong Key Laboratory of Intelligent Information Processing at Shenzhen University, and the Research Center for Integrated Smart Energy Systems Optimal Operation and Control at South China University of Technology (SCUT-ISESOOC).
Upholding the theme “bringing together global wisdom to promote high-quality development,” the conference boasted a main venue accompanied by six major sub-venues. Nearly a hundred eminent figures in domestic and international scientific research and industry, including academicians, were invited to deliver speeches. The topics spanned various cutting-edge academic domains such as next-generation artificial intelligence, emerging materials, industrial internet, and smart cities. Furthermore, the parallel specialized sessions featured diverse formats, including keynote speeches, live Q&A sessions, and open discussions for exchanges and discussions, alongside the concurrent online academic exchange activities.
Six major sub-venues proceed simultaneously to discuss cutting-edge scientific and technological developments
On the afternoon of December 9, the academic conferences of six major sub-venues, including the Inaugural Meeting of IEEE PES SBLC Satellite Committee-China (IEEE PES SBLC 2023), the 2023 5th International Conference on Information Technology and Computer Application (ITCA 2023), the 2023 5th International Conference on Communications, Information Systems, and Software Engineering (CISSE 2023), the 2023 5th International Conference on Mechanical Engineering and Automation (MEA 2023), the 2023 5th International Conference on New Energy System and Electrical Engineering (NESEE 2023), and the 2023 5th Management Science Informatization and Economic Innovation Development Conference (MSIEID 2023), were held simultaneously.
These conferences extended invitations to experts and scholars from esteemed domestic and international universities such as Tsinghua University, Wuhan University, Tongji University, South China University of Technology, Southern University of Science and Technology, Shenzhen University, University of Guelph, and Leeds Trinity University. They delivered keynote speeches covering a wide array of topics, including information technology and computer applications, communication, information systems and software engineering, mechanical engineering and automation, new energy science and electrical engineering, and management science informatization and economic innovation development. Through the dissemination of pioneering academic accomplishments, these experts facilitated the translation of research findings and the convergence of talents, technologies, and intellectual resources, thereby catalyzing the advancement of international scientific and technological innovation.

On December 10, the IAECST 2023 & the Inaugural Meeting of IEEE PES SBLC 2023 were officially convened.
